‘Dirty Harry’ tells Coulter not to be masochistic
Coulter gives McCain a ‘final offer’
Neil Cavuto of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network was smack in the middle of the latest brouhaha involving Ann Coulter again yesterday.
First, actor/director Clint Eastwood told Cavuto
that Coulter and other conservative firebrands who say they won’t support Sen. John McCain are being “masochistic.” That’s Dirty Harry, folks, telling someone they’re getting pleasure from pain.
In Coulter’s case, Eastwood was referring in particular to her claim earlier in the week that she will campaign for Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton if McCain — who she thinks isn’t conservative enough — is the GOP nominee.
Then Cavuto had Coulter on his FBN show and she said the “only way” she’ll vote for McCain is if he makes Mitty Romney his running mate. “That’s my final offer,” Coulter said.
