Clinton Camp Moves On To Virginia

After stinging defeats in three states last night, Sen Clinton moved on to a state that’s not expected be much friendlier — Virginia, which along with Maryland and the District of Columbia, votes on Tuesday.

While large African American populations in DC, its Maryland suburbs, and Baltimore are expected to deliver those two primaries for Obama, Clinton has targeted Virginia as a place where she can pick up some delegates. The campaign cites large communities of military families and government workers — two groups she thinks she can do well with. She’s also hoping to score points in the rural and economically depressed Southwest and Center of the state.
