Is The MediaSaturday Night Live Biased Against Hillary

Hillary Clinton seems to have raised “Saturday Night Live” to the rank of media fairness watchdog in declining to say in an interview today if she was suggesting the press treats her unfairly by citing an “SNL” skit that called it that way in last night’s debate.

“Well, you know, I was trying to be humorous referencing “Saturday Night Live,” which was pretty funny I thought,” Clinton explained to a Cleveland NBC station.

“You know, I’m running to be the President and I’m asking the people of Ohio to hire me for the toughest job in the world,” Clinton said. “And I don’t mind the tough questions. I don’t mind having the press go at me as they have for many years. I think that’s part of the territory. It’s really something that we should expect.”

But, she was asked, Is there a double standard in your mind, that she was getting at in the debate?

“That was certainly what ‘Saturday Night Live’ seemed to suggest,” Clinton said.
