Some say that Hillary Clinton regained her swagger last night. At the very least, she isn’t out of the race yet. Senator Clinton is projected to win both Ohio and Texas, two very big states in the race for the Democratic nomination. She also won Rhode Island, while Barack Obama won Vermont.
In Ohio, Clinton won 54% of the vote, and Obama had 44%. In Texas, she had 51% vs. 48% for Obama. The numbers are based on projections after having 99% of all precincts reporting.
“For everyone here in Ohio and across America who’s been ever been counted out but refused to be knocked out, for everyone who has stumbled but stood right back up, and for everyone who works hard and never gives up — this one is for you,” Clinton said last night in Ohio.
“You know what they say,” she said. “As Ohio goes, so goes the nation. Well, this nation’s coming back and so is this campaign.”
