When Will We Learn?

I often wonder how Democrats so often snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Hillary Clinton has unfortunately joined with McCain in attempting to capitalize on Obama’s comments that rural voters in this country are “bitter” due to the hard financial times and lack of opportunities. I just watched Senator Clinton give a speech in Indiana in which she said that she disagreed with Obama that faith and guns are a reaction to rural voter’s frustration. This is so amazingly disingenuous on the part of Senator Clinton. She knows that voters, especially middle class voters, are angry. She also knows that Obama is a man of deep faith and respects the Second Amendment rights of all Americans. Instead of doing the honest and honorable thing and acknowledging that what Obama said is basically true, if inartfully stated, she typically takes the low and politically expedient road. This is similar to her ludicrous claims that she and McCain have passed some undefined Commander-in-Chief test that Obama fails.
This election is too important for us to allow CNN, Fox News and politicians that exploit their silliness to high jack this campaign and lead us down the road to another Republican administration.
