Denver; Parades Anti-War, Anarchists For Hillary & Pro-Alien (Raelian)

Protesters will ‘push the limits,’ organizer says

An organizer for one of the groups planning large-scale protests during the Democratic National Convention said Thursday it will challenge “in the streets of Denver” a federal judge’s decision to restrict access to the Pepsi Center.

“We’re going to vote with our feet, and we’re going to vote in the streets,” said Glenn Spagnuolo of the Re-create 68 Alliance.

His comments came after the American Civil Liberties Union, which represented Re-Create 68 and a dozen other advocacy groups, decided not to appeal a Wednesday decision by U.S. District Judge Marcia Krieger.

Krieger ruled that the designated protest zone and parade route did not violate protesters’ free speech rights and that the city and Secret Service didn’t have to give protesters better access.

Then we have the obligatory “Anarchists,” although this group seems to be lacking in some respects.

Next on the list is the Pro-Alien group. Not the undocumented immigrants kind of alien, the “Raelian Movement,” which believes life on Earth was created in laboratories by extraterrestrials.

These Democrats really know how to have fun.
