Democrats Declare Defeat….in August!

Democrats are suffering from a severe case of low self esteem. It’s August and many Democrats are already dissecting the anatomy of what they fear will be an Obama loss in November. We spend excessive amounts of time and energy hand wringing and second guessing.Should Obama air more negative campaign ads? What VP candidate will help Obama secure victory–is Hillary the only choice? Should Obama spend a week in debate camp and learn to give sharp, pithy, one-liners instead of comprehensive, nuanced answers to debate questions? We have been so traumatized by our losses in the 2000 and 2004 presidential election that we are over analyzing every poll and detail of the general election.
