CNN - Obama Is Lieing About Bill Ayers
Anderson Cooper Heart Broken
NY Post
“…the relationship between Obama and Ayers went much deeper, ran much longer, and was much more political than Obama said.”
Chief Obama Strategist David Axelrod;“When he (Obama) went he certainly didn’t know the history” of unrepentant bombers Bernadine Dohrn and William Ayers’ activities in the violent Weather Underground movement. Axelrod was speaking of when the candidate attended a political event at Ayers’ home in 1995.
“Obama was unaware of Ayers’ past.”
Ayers co-founded the Weather Underground, which took credit for multiple bombings and targeted the Pentagon and the Capitol, though Ayers was acquitted of charges against him and later joined the faculty of the University of Illinois in Chicago.

There certainly isn’t any sign that Bernadine Dohrn or William Ayers were repentent in this interview with Connie Chung.
Obama, in an interview on the Tom Joyner radio show, said: “Mr. Ayers is somebody who lives in Chicago. He’s a professor at the University of Chicago, Illinois, teaches education, and he engaged in these despicable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old. I served on a board with him.”
(less than 8 years ago)
“There’s no evidence that they’re close,” Axelrod added.

Comment by Evelyn Montgomery on 9 October 2008:
Obama states that he was not aware of Ayers dealings with the underground when he was given a “coming out” party. This is another example of Obama’s poor judgment. We are supposed to entrust this man with the serious issues concerning America today? Everyone talks about how intelligent Obama is. I don’t see it. Someone who says he wasn’t aware of Ayers past, wasn’t aware of his pastor’s anti-american sermons (he only attended 500 some odd services)and appoints a man like Raines to his campaign as an advisor is either naive or stupid. Do we need this guy in office making life and death decisions? God Help Us!
