This Gentleman Should Be ‘Representin’ For McCain/Palin
The Definition of “Representin” (re-visited)
I wonder if Senator Joe Biden would describe this man the same way he did Barack Obama, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” said now Democratic Vice Presidential nominee, Joe Biden.
Why aren’t Democrats upset that Joe Biden, a “Prejudiced” man, is running for Vice President? (click here to see a post concerning ‘prejudice’ attributed to me.)
I first ran across this video in January 2008 when people were beginning to switch from Hillary to Obama.

While listening to the man in this video, 32-year old Derrick Ashong, it was easy to see he already had definite ideas of what Obama represented.
Now, little more than nine months later, I wonder if Derrick’s views on Obama have changed. Mine have!
If I could, I would ask him to take another look at Obama and the myriad of his negative associations that have been reported in the last 6 months.
I’d ask Derrick to take a look at how Barack uses his slogan, “Change,” to mean anything but change for a better America.
I would also ask Patricia Wilson-Smith of Black Women For Obama if she still sees the same Obama that she wrote so glowingly of just 6 months ago. I wonder if she sees the Junior Senator as an agent of “Change” for the betterment of all people in America.
Unfortunately, I believe I know what their answers would be.
I hope I’m wrong.
Update: I am adding this link on the Huffingtonpost, that was posted in the comments section. If you have the time please read the article.

But Not The Guy Below

In a word, yes. And I’m not the only one:

Listen! I don’t know what point it is that you are trying to make here, but it’s just not clear. For that matter neither is the policies of the McCain ticket or the reason that he chose Sarah Palin. I know none of this has anything to do with this opinion that you’ve posted but as my name states I am “sick a this (dis)”.
Has any conservative stopped for a second and just asked themselves or one of their friends why they fear Barack Obama so much? Well if not, let me help you and any other sorry son of a gun that can’t see the sunlight at midday. You are prejudice! I don’t want to say racist, but prejudice yes! This man, well the Obama ticket is much better for our country. Just face it and get over it! Suddenly people want to act as if an education isn’t important anymore or takes the back seat to a military record. Man please! John McCain couldn’t lead me up a flight of stairs.
Just get over yourselves! I am really tired of all the negative blogs, news etc about a man who is really ready to lead this country in a positive direction. Whether you like him or not just be honest with yourself and admit he is a better choice than John McCain. So just get your hat and sunglasses ready so that on November 4th you can got and vote for Barack Obama the black man that’s going to take our country in a new direction. So no one has to know you voted if that’s you r issue until you start to reap the benefits of his presidency and begin to brag about your vote. Then you’ll see you weren’t alone:)
Do the right thing…
Vote–Obama/Biden Nov.4th

First I can assure you I made no prejudgment.
I have come to what I consider is a rational judgment on Obama’s ability to lead.
For the record, I am “Conservative” in my views.
In my judgment, I believe Obama has shown he is lacking in reason as to whom he has chosen to associate with.
He, in my opinion, has shown a lack of character and honesty.
We can disagree but you have no reason to attack me using the term, prejudice.
You seem to be lowering yourself to the lowest common denominator. You display an extreme amount of anger and lack of respect for another’s views.
I would like to know if your anger is directed at a specific class, race or just hatred for my right to have a differing opinion.

Your help is needed. If you’re ready for change, please share this video with all of your family and friends.
ThinkVeryBig
Go to youtube and do a search for “thinkverybig” and watch all of those videos. The one called “We Must Change” would be fitting to recite at Obama’s Inauguration.
It is my goal to recite “We Must Change” at Obama’s Inauguration.
