Obama’s America, “The Collective Would Set The Social Imperatives”

Barack Hussein Obama’s Socialist America

“In America,” Obama says, “we have this strong bias toward individual action. You know, we idolize the John Wayne hero who comes in to correct things with both guns blazing. But individual actions, individual dreams, are not sufficient. We must unite in collective action, build collective institutions and organizations.”

What Barack is espousing is, the powers of government, the rights and responsibilities of individual citizens, are to be decided by the “general will” - that is, the will of the people.

Obama’s idea of collectivism sounds like Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s Social Contract, an example of collectivist political philosophy.

Barack would have the collective set the social imperative on technologies, welfare provisions, education, occupations, industrial relations and on the environment. He would set a technological policy which, in his socialist society, must follow those social imperatives. Obama’s course for America arrives at a conclusion that the crucial condition for keeping the social promises given by the state and party authorities is at present participatory democracy on a micro as well as macro-level of society. (fund raising at the individual, grassroots level)

Obama and Ron Paul speak in the same terms of the Social Imperative.

Ron Paul … The problem with being practical, is that he is being practical when the needs suit him. It really destroys credibility to point the finger and say he voted against this, and voted against that, and then a big disaster occurs and suddenly come sucking on the teet of big government to bail his district out. It is really sort of hypocritical to rail against the system for so long, and then to reverse course like this…

Obama took time off from attending campaign coffees in Chicago to attend October’s Million Man March in Washington, D.C. His experiences there only reinforced his reasons for jumping into politics.
*The Million Man March was a political march convened by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan in Washington, DC on October 16, 1995.

Obama wrote:
“What I saw was a powerful demonstration of an impulse and need for African-American men to come together to recognize each other and affirm our rightful place in the society,” he said. “There was a profound sense that African-American men were ready to make a commitment to bring about change in our communities and lives.

“But what was lacking among march organizers was a positive agenda, a coherent agenda for change.”

“I know my country has not perfected itself.” The French, Communists in Russia, China, Cambodia and Vietnam, and the Nazis sought to perfect humankind as only good Human Secularists knew they could do it. More millions died at their hands than all the bloody wars of religion - including Islam’s long history of subjugation and oppression.

“Tear down walls between Christians, Jews and Muslims, nations, tribes and immigrants?” Tear them down to what? The proletarian nihilism of peasants living in a secular, socialist society governed by their elite betters? it’s true that we humans are alike in our basic humanity, but culture commands and defines us persons living in very different civilizations. Only one culture can support a civilization at a time. Not two. Ever. Which one will it be for America? Our traditional Judeo-Christian, capitalist, liberal (small L) constitutional, rule of law, federal republic or what?
