On Friday, Obama said Americans who resisted a tax increase were selfish which led me to ponder how long it would be before most Americans were told to do what Joe Biden called their patriotic duty and pay for Obama’s planned socialist revolution.

LOOK IN THAT CASE WHY DID WE LISTEN TO ALL THE OTHER LIERS THAT RAN & WON, LOOK WHAT THEY DID TO THIS COUNTRY.
OH I FORGOT WE ARE NOT IN A RECESSION, WE DON’T HAVE THE HUNGRY AND THE HOMELESS,AND WHO IS HURTING WE THE MIDDLE CLASS AND THE POOR. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE FORECLOSERS WHAT ABOUT OUR GAS HIKES AND WHAT ABOUT THE OVERALL. DOES IT REALLY MATTER HOW AS LONG AS WE GET SOMETHING DONE.

Mary: I agree with you that they are all liars, but what troubles me with Obama is what he is lying about, what he is hiding, and why he is hiding it. That goes beyond “I’ll put a chicken in every pot.” All the problems you listed are better handled by less government not more government. Bush did a great job protecting us from a terrorist attack here but he was probably the worst Republican President we’ve seen in a long time simply because he acted like a Democrat on social issues and big government. Say what you want but we’ve had a Democrat in office for the last 8 years and no one wants to admit it. So if you’re thinking about voting for Obama, expect 4 more years of the same. McCain, if nothing else, was a major thorn in Bush’s side for 8 years.

It was NOT socialism that made America the most powerful, affluent country in the world.
